Mexico City, Mexico — Two men have been returned to Mexico to face criminal charges of murder. On Wednesday, the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic (FGR) reported on the return of the two men who were wanted in separate incidences.
Luis “D”, who had been wanted since September of 2011, was extradited by the US. He will face murder charges for the kidnapping and strangulation of his then-wife in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua.
In February of 2021, Raydel “D” killed a man with a sharp weapon in the city of Nogales. According to the FGR, he was wanted by the Third District Court of Sonora for his alleged responsibility of premeditated murder, treachery, advantage and brutal ferocity.
Both men were handed over for extradition at the El Paso, Texas, and Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, border bridge.
