U.S. officials transfer suspect wanted for double manslaughter in California

Mexico City, Mexico — U.S. government officials received Gustavo “N” on Monday for transfer to the United States. In a statement, the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) reported that Gustavo “N”, of Mexican nationality, was required by the Kern County California court for double manslaughter.

In September 2004, Gustavo “N” shot his ex-wife and her partner, killing both. He returned to Mexico and was arrested in November 2022 in Tijuana, Baja California.

The Government of Mexico has granted the extradition of the defendant to the Government of the United States where he will face charges.
