Tulum, Q.R. — U.S. airline JetBlue has announced a fourth destination into Mexico. The airline says they will begin serving the Tulum International Airport June 13, 2024.
In a press release, JetBlue announced it will serve Tulum, its fourth destination in Mexico. Daily nonstop service from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Felipe Carrillo Puerto Tulum International Airport (TQO) will begin June 13, 2024.
Nestled on the Caribbean coast in Riviera Maya, Tulum is known for its serene beaches, eco-conscious living, and rich Mayan history. This will be JetBlue’s fourth destination in Mexico, where it currently serves Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos.

“With the new international airport in Tulum, we are able to bring our customers where they want to go, arriving and departing in a brand new, modern, and convenient airport facility while offering the great service and low fares JetBlue is known for.”
Flights scheduled between New York (JFK) and Tulum (TQO) include a daily service starting June 13, 2024. The airline will offer JFK – TQO Flight #2879 and TQO – JFK Flight #2880 7:55 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. – 5:55 p.m.
JetBlue will operate the Tulum route using its Airbus A320 aircraft, offering the airline’s award-winning service featuring the most legroom in coach, fast, free and unlimited broadband Fly-Fi, complimentary name-brand snacks and drinks and seatback entertainment at every seat.
Tulum, located southwest of Playa del Carmen and Cancun, has become a top choice for those looking to enjoy an escape with health-centric resorts and retreats, captivating archaeological ruins, and natural wonders like cenotes.
JetBlue has been operating flights from New York to Cancun for 17 years and has expanded to offer Cancun flights from Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Los Angeles, Tampa, Newark and Raleigh.
JetBlue tickets to the Tulum International Airport are currently on sale.
