Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Two youths charged with sexual abuse will remain in preventative detention during their trial. In a press release, the General Prosecutor’s Office said that during their hearing, a judge declared both to remain in custody for their probable participation in the commission of the crime of sexual abuse to the detriment of a minor.
The victim reported both men, identified as Erick Z and Luis Z, 18 and 19 years old respectively and both from Puerto Rico, sexually abused the girl at a Playa del Carmen hotel June 28.
