Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Two taxis were written off Sunday after a high speed intersection crash. The accident happened in the Centro neighborhood around 2:00 p.m. when, according to witnesses, one of the drivers was speeding and failed to stop.
The two taxis crashed at a 14th Street intersection. Neither of the drivers required anything beyond onsite medial attention.
Witnesses reported one of the drivers was speeding and failed to stop at the marked intersection, causing the crash. Municipal Transit were at the scene to sort out the two taxi mishap.
