Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Two male subjects were secured by police after shooting and wounding a man in the leg.
The incident happened late Friday night with police responding to the 11:00 p.m. report of shots fired. Elements of the Ministry of Public Security and Municipal Transit of Solidaridad responded to the call in the Misión del Carmen neighborhood where they found one male with a bullet wound to his leg.
The wounded male told police he was shot by two subjects on a motorcycle who fled the scene. A search mission was deployed. Both men were found separately. One was discovered on calle Kantunilkín in the coloney of Nueva Creación and the second, walking along Misión del Carmen in Villamar I.
