Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Two Playa del Carmen taxi drivers collided head-on leaving passengers in one of the taxis with injuries.
Police responded to the three-car accident on avenida Solidarida where two of the involved, which were taxis, were heading in opposite directions and hit head on. Both vehicles were heavily damaged in the collision. Two passengers, an adult and a minor from one of the cars, were injured and transferred to hospital via ambulance.
There was no official word from police on the cause of the accident.
