Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Police responded to the 911 report made by passersby of the discovery of the bodies of two young men in central Playa del Carmen Monday. Both men were found deceased around 6:20 a.m. on a road in Colonia Centro between 30 and 35 Avenue.
Elements of the Municipal Police were on scene where both were found laying on the roadway with their hands and feet bound. Police proceeded to close the street to preserve evidence and give way to Ministerial Police to move forward with the investigation.
Details about the discovery have not been released, nor has the identity of the victims. Personnel from the medical examiner’s office were called to removed the men.
