Bacalar, Q.R. — Two men identified as Luis N and Carlos N were apprehended by elements of the State Attorney General’s Office for their alleged responsibility in the execution of two people in the municipality of Bacalar during the month of July.
The technical-scientific and intelligence investigation launched by the Prosecutor’s Office led to the detention of the two men who are allegedly related to various criminal acts including murder.
As a result of their investigations, Luis N and Carlos N were apprehended for their likely involvement in criminal activity in the communities of Mahahual and Xcalak for events that occurred in July, one of which was the death of two men, Jesus N and Jairo N.
Both men were shot and killed while driving.
Both Luis N and Carlos N have been imprisoned in the Center of Social Reinsertion while they undergo their judicial processes.
