Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Two Americans, one Honduran and one Mexican national were jailed on drug related charges Friday. The four were arrested by municipal police after an area resident of Villas del Sol reported them for selling narcotics.
After the anonymous 911 call was made, police began touring the residential streets in search of them, eventually locating all four. They were found near Azulejos Avenue and searched.
A total of 58 bags of cocaine products along with U.S. cash and Mexico peso was found during the search. Jailed was 16-year-old Bryan N and 18-year-old Ángel N both from the U.S. state of Texas, along with 50-year-old Miriam N, from Honduras and 27-year-old Román N from the Mexican state of Tabasco.
