Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A Tulum taxi passenger was taken to hospital Tuesday after her cab collided with a private vehicle. Police and paramedics were at the scene in Arco Vial Tuesday afternoon to deal with the two vehicle collision that left the female passenger injured.
According to the Tulum taxi driver, a car crossed his path, cutting him off. In an attempt to avoid that car, he drove up and over the central median and hit a truck waiting at a red light in the opposite lane.
The taxi came to rest against the front driver’s side of the pickup. The Tulum taxi was most damaged from the collision.
