Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — The driver of a tourist van carrying passengers is being held responsible for an accident that occurred in Playa del Carmen Wednesday.
Reports say the transport van caused an accident along Playa del Carmen boulevard at the northern entrance of the city when he attempted to turn left, cutting off circulation to the other lane. The accident happened around 3:30 p.m., involving the van, an SUV and a scooter.
The person on the scooter was left with injuries from the mishap after colliding with the SUV. Transit police arrived and arrested the driver of the transport unit.
