Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A man has reportedly died after suffering a heart attack while walking along the city’s popular Fifth Avenue shopping avenue.
The man, who was a tourist from Panama, was walking along Fifth Avenue Sunday with two family members when he suddenly collapsed on the cobblestone. Paramedics arrived at the 12th Street location, however, the man had already died.
Agents from la Fiscalía General del Estado arrived to help the family. The identity of the man has been reserved.
