Cancun, Q.R. — More than two dozen people were removed from a club in Cancun Sunday after a police operation. Cancun officers moved in on the club after midnight Saturday after receiving a tip of underage workers inside the establishment.
Their operation lead to the detainment of more than two dozen people, two of which included two 17 year old girls. The two young girls were allegedly involved in prostitution through the club.
They, along with other workers, were removed from the establishment before city officials proceeded to shut it down. The two girls, who are considered minors, were transferred to DIF Benito Juárez from where they were returned to their families.
