Three men wanted in Texas and Illinois extradited from Mexico

Mexico City, Mexico — Three Mexican nationals have been sent to the United States to face criminal charges for various crimes.

Saúl “C” was wanted by the Circuit Court of Cook County of Illinois for reckless homicide, driving under the influence and abandonment of the scene of the crime. According to the State Attorney of the Republic (FGR), Saúl “C” had been wanted by Chicago police since June of 2011 after hitting a man and killing him before fleeing the scene.

Gustavo “M” has been sent to Harris County Court, Texas, on charges of sexual abuse of a minor. In February 2017, a minor reported to school authorities in Pasadena, Texas, that Gustavo “M” had sexually abused her since she was five years old. Later, it was reported that another minor had also been sexually abused by the same man.

Héctor “R” is now in the hands of authorities from the Criminal District Court No. 4 for Dallas County, Texas, for homicide. According to the FGR, in June 2020, he fired several times at three people in a vehicle. One of the passengers was injured and later died as a result of gunshot wounds.

All three were handed over to U.S. agents at the Mexico City International Airport (AICM).
