Costa Maya, Q.R. — Three men reported kidnapped have been found alive. According to the Secretary of Citizen Security (SSC) of Quintana Roo, the three men were located inside a cemetery in the state’s southern town of Huay Pix.
The rescue was made in coordination with the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE). According to the agency, the three men identified as RALR, OJKM and JDMK, were located in the town’s cemetery on Miguel Borge Martín Street Thursday.
When located, their heads and faces were wrapped with gray industrial tape and they were tied at their hands. Some some had bruises from the blows inflicted on them. Paramedics from an ambulance attended to the three men at the scene.
None were transferred to hospital, however, police did escort them to the FGE to file an official statement as to what happened.
