Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Three males have been charged in the 2022 murder of a Playa del Carmen man. On Saturday, the State Attorney General’s Office reported on the arrests of Manuel Edmundo “N”, Guillermo “N” and Jonathan Gabriel “N”.
All three are being charged with qualified homicide related to the November 19, 2022 murder of a man they targeted.
“According to the first investigations, the events occurred on November 19, 2022, in an establishment located on Avenue 125 of Playa del Carmen. Jonathan Gabriel “N”, and another person identified as Rosalía “N”, pointed out the victim, the now-deceased.
“Subsequently, the defendants Guillermo “N” and Manuel Edmundo “N” and another subject entered the establishment and forcibly took the victim to the bathroom where they proceeded to physically attack him and there, Manuel Edmundo “ N” caused several injuries with a knife which caused his death,” they detailed.
The Specialized Homicide Prosecutor’s Office obtained arrest warrants for all three who have since been officially charged in the murder. All three will remain in informal preventive detention.
