Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A three-car accident at a Playa del Carmen intersection caused a considerable amount of damage but no injuries. On Monday morning, a car began to slow for a changing light at the intersection of Avenida Colosio and Avenida Lilis.
While stopping, the car was hit from behind by a portable water truck, which, due to its accelerated impact, pushed the compact car out into traffic, causing it to collide with an oncoming taxi before slamming into a retaining wall.
Police arrived only to find material damage for which the presence of the Public Ministry was requested to define responsibilities.
