Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Three men who attempted to intimidate a ranch security guard were arrested armed. The trio were detained by Solidaridad police after the security guard reported the incident Friday.
Municipal Police located the ranch at a dirt road extension at the end of Juárez Avenue where the security guard said the men subdued him before threatening to kill him if he returned to the ranch.
With their physical descriptions and additional officers, Playa del Carmen police were able to locate the men. In a joint search operation with the Secretary of National Defence, Eric “N”, 27 from Tlaxcala, Wilbert “N”, 43 from Yucatan and Gerardo “N”, 57 from Mexico City were arrested. All three were found in possession of loaded shotguns and additional ammo.
