Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A Colombian man was among three males jailed Saturday on narcotic charges. In a statement from the Secretaría de Seguridad Pública y Tránsito Municipal de Solidaridad, the three men were arrested after being caught with the stash of drugs in the Ejido area of Playa del Carmen.
Police report that the Colombian and two men from Mexico City were found in possession of narcotics that include marijuana, crystal meth and powered cocaine. Jailed are 38-year-old Michel N and 31-year-old David N, both from Mexico City.
Also jailed was 38-year-old Rafael N from Colombia. They were taken into custody early Saturday morning from 2nd Street and 70th Avenue. During their arrests, police also found an undisclosed amount of cash that was seized along with the drugs.
