Costa Maya, Q.R. — Five people were taken to hospital after the driver rolled their compact car along a section of the federal 307 highway. Transit officials along with paramedics arrived at the site around 2:00 p.m. Saturday where they located the rolled car of five.
The accident was reported by passing motorists who saw the car overturn while traveling the Felipe Carrillo Puerto – Chetumal highway. Inside the car, paramedics attended to three adults and two teenagers, aged 16 and 17, all of whom, suffered serious injuries.
The five occupants of the car were reported to be visitors from the state of Chiapas. On Tuesday, one of the female minors from inside the car reportedly died in hospital.
