Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A young teen whose rap sheet now includes extortion was arrested in Playa del Carmen. The youth, 18-year-old Isidro N from the state of Tabasco, was jailed over the weekend after a failed attempt at extorting a business.
Local authorities took the Tabasco teen into custody after uttering threats against a person who refused to pay his extortion demands. The teen was detained Friday on Xel-Ha Street in La Guadalupana after the threatened person reported him for his extortion attempt.
