Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A man was arrested after robbing a business inside the Multiplaza shopping center of Playa del Carmen. The identity of this subject was not revealed, but it was reported that he entered a store where he threatened employees with a knife.
He later tried to flee, but was caught by private security guards at the shopping center. The unidentified man was later handed over to municipal police officers along with the 35-centimeter knife and cash he had just stolen.
The male subject was from the state of Tabasco. He was transferred to the Ministry of Public Security for the corresponding legal purposes.
