Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A man wanted for a Tulum murder has been arrested in Playa del Carmen. On Thursday, Acting FGE head Raciel López Salazar, reported that an arrest warrant was executed against Edgar “T”.
According to the State Attorney General’s Office, Edgar “T” was arrested “for his probable participation in the crime of qualified homicide against a victim of reserved identity.
“The defendant is Edgar “T”, who along with other subjects, allegedly deprived a man of his life.
“The events occurred on April 22 of this year when the now accused and another subject removed a male person from an establishment located in the municipality of Tulum, put him in a taxi and transferred him to a dirt road of La Selva Avenue where they finally deprive him of his life.”
Edgar “T” was arrested on Prolongación Benito Juárez Avenue in the Ejido neighborhood of Playa del Carmen from where he was transferred to the facilities of the State Attorney General’s Office. He has since been admitted to the Solidaridad Municipal Retention Center.
