Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A suspect wanted in the Mexico City kidnapping of three was arrested from a residential street of Playa del Carmen. On Thursday, local authorities took Roberto Jesús “N” into custody from the Ejido area of the city.
He was wanted in connection to the November 2019 kidnapping of three people in Mexico City. According to local officials, his arrest came after coordinated efforts between the FGE of Quintana Roo with the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City.
“Thanks to traditional and technological intelligence work, it was possible to obtain the location of the now detained in the streets of the Ejido neighborhood of Playa del Carmen where elements of the Investigative Police completed the court order,” the FGE of Quintana Roo reported.
After the arrest of Roberto Jesús “N”, the corresponding procedures were carried out for his return to Mexico City.
