Mexico City, Mexico — A Mexican man wanted for murder in the state of California has been extradited to face charges. On Monday, Mario “S” was transferred to the Mexico City International Airport where he was met by U.S. agents.
According to the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic (FGR) of Mexico, Mario “S” was delivered to the agents in an extradition agreement between the two countries. He has already been returned to the state of California where he will appear before the Superior Court of the State of California in Contra Costa County, Richmond Division, for the felony of murder.
On September 20, 2009, Mario “S” is alleged to have stabbed a man several times causing his death. He was located and arrested in San Luis de la Paz, Guanajuato, in January 2022 and finally extradited to the U.S. to face charges.
