Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A two-vehicle collision in Playa del Carmen has left both with substantial damage after one broadsided the other.
A Lázaro Cárdenas del Río taxi and a private SUV were involved in the mishap which happened Sunday morning when the taxi driver allegedly failed to stop at a marked sign. Traveling at excessive speed, the taxi impacted the SUV on its side as it traveled along Playa del Carmen Boulevard.
Paramedics did arrive on scene, however, both drivers were assessed and released suffering only minor injuries.
