Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Solidaridad police detained 13 people and more than 820 street doses of drugs in a central city operation. On Monday, the SSP of Solidaridad said that during pedestrian surveillance on Fifth Avenue, at the height of Constituyentes Avenue, their canine marked three subjects as positive for narcotics.
All three attempted to flee but were intercepted inside an establishment. Inside, police inspected several people which resulted in the locating of a firearm and a variety of narcotics that included several variations of cocaine products, crystal meth, LSD and pills.
A total of 13 people were taken into custody ranging in ages from 18 to 49.
