Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — The driver of a motorcycle was pronounced on scene after crashing into the back of a water truck. The accident happened Saturday along a section of Constituyentes Avenue in Playa del Carmen.
According to early reports, the driver of the motorcycle was speeding when he came upon the slowed truck. He slammed into the back passenger side of the heavy unit and was pronounced dead on scene.
The motorcycle passenger was transferred to Playa del Carmen hospital Saturday morning in critical condition. The accident happened when the truck slowed to turn into a residential area to deliver water.
