Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — An accident that involved an alleged speeding police truck left the unit overturned in a Playa del Carmen neighborhood.
The incident was reported in the Villas del Sol subdivision in which municipal police officers were involved. According to their report, police were circulating on Colosio Avenue when the vehicle they were driving overturned, landing on its side.
A tow truck was called to upright and remove the police unit from the street. It was transferred to police facilities. No injuries were reported in the incident.
