Mexicali Valley, Baja California — The Specialized Regional Control Prosecutor’s Office in Baja California have seized nine vehicles and six small planes. They were seized by authorities after police found cocaine and heroin.
According to the police report, elements of the State Citizen Security Force detained five people aboard two vehicles after finding 189 packages of cocaine, 90 of fentanyl and one of heroin.
The finding took place outside a property located in the vicinity of the Ejido Querétaro, where police say, they suspect more drugs were kept.
The Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office requested a search warrant for the property, and upon carrying out their search, elements of the Federal Ministerial Police (PFM) and Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC ) in coordination with elements of the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA), located 15.4 kilos of cocaine, 3.9 kilos of heroin, six small planes and nine vehicles.
The property was insured and the detainees placed at the disposal of the Federal Public Ministry.
