Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A six-vehicle collision on a section of the Playa del Carmen overpass created congestion Wednesday while police sorted out the mess. The accident happened at the 90th Street descent of the bridge.
Reports say the chain-reaction accident was the result of cars following too closely. Police noted that an Ibiza, Nissan Versa, Nissan March, a taxi from the Lázaro Cárdenas del Río union, a Kia without license plates and Ford pickup were involved.
There were no injuries reported, only substantial material damage and traffic chaos.
