Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Six people who were caught red-handed by patrolling officers were apprehended Wednesday. The group of six, five of which are from Tabasco, were jailed after being caught exchanging narcotics on a public street.
The group of six were arrested in the Villas del Sol subdivision of Playa del Carmen. Police patrolling the area spotted the group manipulating packages of narcotics from the trunk of a vehicle that was parked on a dirt road.
Municipal police arrested Carlos “N” 24, Jeremías “N” 31, José “N” 49, Luis “N” 35 and Jorge “N” 31, all from Tabasco, as well as Josefa 49-year-old “N” from Quintana Roo.
