Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A man who died from stab wounds is said to be the brother of the woman who stabbed him. On Wednesday, police announced the arrest of 22-year-old Galilea N from a home in the Villamar I subdivision of Playa del Carmen in his death.
Neighbors reported to police that the pair had allegedly argued and began fighting inside the home just before midnight Tuesday.
When police arrived at the home on Mar Caribe Street, they found the man laying on the ground in a pool of blood. An ambulance was requested, but he died before they arrived. Police then began a search for the sister, who was accused of inflicting the fatal stab wound.
She was found and arrested. Both the brother and sister are from the state of Veracruz.
