Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — For the crime of attempted homicide, the State Attorney’s Office (FGE) says they have arrested Victor L. The FGE (Fiscalía General del Estado) reports his detainment in compliance with a court order.
The FGE reports that Victor L was arrested for his probable participation in the September 15 attempted murder of a man in the Villas del Sol subdivision. Víctor L., in the company of José M., who has already been arrested and connected to the crime, is believed to have shot the victim with a firearm. The unnamed victim, although injured, managed to escape and request help.
The FGE says that Victor L was captured on Monday afternoon on the public highway of the Misión Villamar uno subdivision and placed at the disposal of authorities where he remains in preventative detention.
