Bacalar, Q.R. — A central town business was reduced to rubble after a fire ripped through the small bar in Bacalar.
Neighbors reported the blaze to authorities around 1:00 p.m. Monday, which sent local firemen to the scene to douse flames. The palapa roof of Scream Bar is what initially caught fire. It was closed at the time due to current Covid restrictions. No injuries were reported.
Authorities have yet to determine the exact cause of the fire.
