Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — An area resident collecting garbage found what are believed to be human remains. The finding was reported to authorities Thursday morning around 7:45 a.m. from the back of an apartment building.
The unidentified caller made the discovery in an area of Villas del Sol. Police arrived to verify the finding, which the called-in report said was in a dumpster. The area was cordoned off while evidence was collected and the dismembered body removed from the garbage container.
