Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Police surrounded a Playa del Carmen motel Thursday night after the report of armed people. A 911 report lead police to Constituyentes Avenue and 65th Street in the Ejido neighborhood where several units lined the street.
It was around midnight when responding officers left the motel with six people in handcuffs. The six were taken into custody after authorities located bags of marijuana, cocaine, crystal meth, and one loaded firearm with magazines.
Jailed was Jorge “N” 32 from Chiapas, Miguel “N” 22 from Villahermosa, Alejandro “N” 37 from Tabasco, Axel “N” 30 from Mexico City and Alejandro “N” 28 and originally from Colombia.
