Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Two subjects were removed from a Playa del Carmen public beach Monday after they were found in violation of the current beach restrictions as well as naked.
Playa del Carmen police found the pair enjoying the sea and sand in its most natural form on Monday on the city’s main central beach area. Police stumbled upon the pair during routine surveillance. When they approached the men, they quickly noticed that not only were they naked, they were also intoxicated.
Rather than arresting them, the pair were asked to leave the beach since restrictions remain in place due to the coronavirus epidemic.
