Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Police searching a Playa del Carmen condo reported seizing several kilos of narcotics. On Wednesday, a Pontina condominium in the Real Amalfi subdivision of Playa del Carmen was searched.
Police executed a search warrant after an investigation lead them to an address located on Genovesi Street. Inside the unit, authorities located and seized several kilos of narcotics, one of which is yet to be determined.
“During the search, the participating agents seized various synthetic material wrappers that contained green, dry grass with characteristics similar to marijuana, as well as white fragments,” the State Attorney General reported.
“After completing the procedure, agents placed the corresponding security seals on the property and then proceeded to transfer the evidence to the headquarters of the State Attorney General’s Office, in order to carry out the legal procedures,” they added.
