Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A search warrant for a Playa del Carmen home in the Ejidal area of the city lead police to the finding of a large amount of narcotics. The search warrant was granted after the weekend arrest of Alejandro “B”.
According to the FGE of Quintana Roo, police began an investigation after the arrest and provision of a person identified as Alejandro “B”. The home, located on Avenida Constituyentes, was searched after authorities concluded it was likely being used for illegal acts.
Police, together with personnel from the Coordination Group for the Construction of Peace and Security Quintana Roo, complied with the order and secured over 40 bags of various narcotics.
The home has since been seized by authorities and remains under guarded protection while their investigation continues.
