Police say four facing a string of charges in city-wide robberies

Cancun, Q.R. — Four suspects in the recent armed robbery of a Cancun shop in September are in custody and facing a string of charges. All four men were arrested on warrants and are being investigated for other city robberies.

All four were captured on video armed, robbing a store in September of 2026.

According to authorities, Jorge “N”, Wilber “N”, Carlos Ariel “N” and Ricardo “N” are accused of participating in various robberies, the most recent being against a tortilla shop on September 27 of this year.

Personnel from the Investigative Police carried out arrest warrants against all four males for their probable involvement in aggravated robbery, police said Monday.

“The four subjects were arrested for their possible involvement in acts likely constituting crimes against health in its form of drug dealing, and later they were served with an arrest warrant for aggravated robbery,” they said.

All four, according to Cancun police, are also being investigated for their possible involvment in the robbery of a city laundromat in Superblock 102 and four convenience stores from different commercial chains during the month of August.

“They also allegedly robbed a convenience store in the Santa Fe subdivision and a tortilla shop in the “El Crucero” area two months ago, and two convenience stores in the Cuzamil subdivision and on Los Tules Avenue with Kabah,” said Cancun police.
