Tijuana, Baja California — Nearly half a ton of narcotics was seized from a car parked in a Tijuana residential neighborhood. The seizure was made by elements of the State Citizen Security Force Wednesday.
According to the Police Report, elements of the State Citizen Security Force made the seizure in the vicinity of the Terrazas Residencial neighborhood in Tijuana. The drugs were found inside a vehicle parked in front of a home.
Police arrested Daniel “L” after locating 23.5 kilos of methamphetamine, 71.9 kilos of fentanyl and 19 guns that included 15 short weapons and four long weapons. A search warrant was requested which lead police to the discovery of additional narcotics.
According to the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic (FGR), the additional search lead them to find 475.8 kilos of methamphetamine hydrochloride, 12.2 kilos of marijuana and 1.9 kilos of diacetylmorphine hydrochloride.
They also found 3,644 cartridges, 15 chargers, a gas pistol, a cell phone, two tablets, a laptop, and various documentation.
