Playa del Carmen, Q. R. — One of three men arrested for drug possession was found with an outstanding warrant for murder. On Monday, the SSP of Solidaridad reported on the arrests of the three men at a police checkpoint.
The men were handcuffed after police checked their Volkswagen at the filter south of the city of Playa del Carmen. During the search, authorities located bags of narcotics that included cocaine, crack, marijuana, hashish and a variety of pills.
During a review of their identification, one of the men, Manuel “N”, was flagged with an outstanding arrest warrant for murder. Arrested was 30-year-old Jonathan “N” from Cancun, 18-year-old Juan “N” from Veracruz and 28-year-old Manuel “N” from Yucatan with an outstanding arrest warrant since February 18, 2020.
