Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A man who shot another person in the arm was arrested early Monday morning. The arrest was made after 25-year-old Irvin N allegedly shot a bar patron in the arm.
The bullet went through and through, leaving the man without fatal injuries. He was taken to hospital and treated for a bullet wound to his right arm. The man who shot him while inside the centrally located Playa del Carmen bar, fled afterward.
With the help of witness descriptions, police began a search for Irvin N, who was found five blocks away from the scene of the shooting. He was located in the Gonzalo Guerrero neighborhood from where he was arrested on charges of attempted homicide.
Authorities have not provided details as to why the bar patron was shot.
