Playa del Carmen Tourist Police make sexual abuse arrest from hotel pool

Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A man accused of touching two young girls and one woman was arrested Monday. The man was taken into custody from the pool area of a Playacar hotel in Playa del Carmen after a report was made against him.

The accused has been identified as 26-year-old Eduardo “N” from the state of Tlaxcala. He was arrested on accusations of sexual abuse after being accused of touching an 11 and 9 year old girl as well as an adult female.

After his arrest, the Citizen Security of Solidaridad (SSC) announced his detainment from a hotel in the Playacar Phase II area of Playa del Carmen.

Seguridad Ciudadana Solidaridad (SSC) said “in response to a call for help, the Solidaridad Municipal Police arrested a person for the possible commission of the crime of sexual abuse against two minors in a hotel in the Playacar phase II complex.

“Tourist Police officers arrived at the place where the complainants pointed out Eduardo “N”, 26 years old, originally from Tlaxcala, as the one who moments before, touched two girls of 11 and 9 years old, as well as an adult women that were in the pool area of the hotel.

“He was secured and placed at the disposal of the State Attorney General’s Office for the corresponding investigations.”

Police did not say who filed the report.
