Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A National Guard base has been voted in approval by the city council of Solidaridad.
The approved vote was for the donation of land to la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (SEDENA) for the construction of a National Guard base in Playa del Carmen. The land and subsequent base, is located in the Mission Las Flores subdivision.
In a press release, the city reported they approved to deliver property located in the Mission Las Flores subdivision for the construction of a National Guard base. The approved vote was made during the 33rd Ordinary Session of the Cabildo, which they say, will strengthen the security of Solidaridad.
The property is located on Los Olivos Street S / N Lot 003, Manzana 062 between Flor de Romero Street and Avenida del Paraíso. Once built, the new National Guard base will house 110 officers.
