Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A taxi driver that allegedly failed to respect an intersection stop sign ended up crashing with a municipal patrol unit.
The intersection collision happened along 4th street when the taxi driver went through the 40th Avenue intersection without stopping at the sign. On his way through, he was met by a municipal police truck. The two collided, causing damage to both vehicles, however, no injuries were reported.
The payment of damages was resolved between the insurance company of the taxi union and the City Council of Solidaridad.
