Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A man and two women were arrested Friday morning with more than a kilo of marijuana among other drugs. Their arrests took place in the Paseo Xcacel subdivision, reported the Solidaridad Public Security Secretariat.
A complaint made to 911 alerted authorities to the sale of drugs from the home. When police arrived, they found three people inside, two of who, attempted to run.
Once caught and inspected, police located bags of marijuana and crystal meth. Both were also carrying loaded handguns. Arrested was 30-year-old Raziel N and 34-year-old Cristina N, who, aside from 95 bags of marijuana, was also found carrying 146 doses of crystal meth. Both were armed.
A third person, 27-year-old Estefania N was also taken into custody after being found in possession of mushrooms, hashish and crystal meth along with an unknown narcotic substance that was “to be determined.”
