Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Police were able to track down a fleeing vehicle and arrest those inside after the report of a parking lot theft in central Playa del Carmen. The two men and two women were reported for stealing a laptop and other electronics from inside a parked vehicle at a plaza.
The owner of the vehicle surprised the thieves in mid-robbery and was able to provide police with a vehicle description and plate number as the four fled the robbery scene.
The Tabasco-plated Outlander was located and intercepted by Tourist Police who proceeded to arrest the group of four. Inside their vehicle was the laptop and other electronic items stolen from the parking lot.
